Daniel Mercer

Daniel R. Mercer is the Editor-in-Chief and Site Director of The Respect Project. He oversees the website’s editorial strategy, manages the international editorial team, and supervises the preparation and publication of all English-language content.

Daniel works with writers and researchers to develop original articles about independent animated web series, including episode guides, character profiles, voice actor features, and explanatory materials. He is responsible for editorial standards, fact-checking, consistency, and the overall quality of the site’s publications.

As head of the project, Daniel also coordinates the website’s multilingual editions. He prepares and approves the original English articles before they are assigned to regional editors, who translate and adapt the content for readers in their respective languages.
