Amanda Hufford

Amanda Hufford (born April 16, 1995) is a Houston, Texas–based voice actor, vocalist, director, and writer who uses they/them pronouns. They grew up doing stage and musical theatre, which informed their approach to vocal performance before they moved into animation and games.

Voice Acting Career

Amanda has voiced characters across web series, games, anime dubs, and commercials. Their most prominent roles include:

• Ragatha (and Evil Ragatha) in The Amazing Digital Circus — an optimistic rag doll navigating a surreal digital world, and her darker counterpart
• Haniyyah in the English dub of Genshin Impact
• Behemoth in the English dub of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE
• Rebel in Date Everything!

Their broader voiceover portfolio spans Bread Barbershop, Dragon Ball R&R, Cybernautica, Flappatron, Hannahpocalypse, Inkbound, Project Wingman, Mythic Girls, Smite, Space Leaper: Cocoon, Warframe, and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, among others.

Ragatha is one of the series' central characters — the performance requires balancing genuine warmth with the weight of someone holding a group together in an absurd, destabilizing situation. Evil Ragatha runs the opposite direction. Haniyyah and Behemoth sit firmly in the game space, while Rebel in Date Everything! reflects their reach into narrative-driven indie titles.

Directing, Writing, and Creative Work

Beyond performance, Amanda directs and writes. Their behind-the-scenes credits include Date Everything!, Cybernautica, The Divine Speaker, and Hannahpocalypse. In 2024, they co-founded Sassy Chap Games with voice actors Robbie Daymond and Max Mittelman — a company working on original game projects.

They work from a home studio built around a BU87 microphone, SSL2 audio interface, and REAPER DAW, covering demos and final recordings for games, animation, commercials, radio, and audiobooks.

Recognition

Amanda was a guest at Comic-Con LA in 2025, where their role in The Amazing Digital Circus drew significant attention. Their performances have built a following across fan communities and online animation spaces. They are also open about their identity as a non-binary, LGBTQ+ voice actor, and discuss representation in the industry publicly.
