Meta Runner is an animated series from Glitch Productions following Tari, a talented but down-on-her-luck gamer who's gifted a prototype VR headset by the tech company Cybertropolis — only for a corrupted update to leave her with real, reality-glitching powers. What looks like a lucky break quickly turns into Tari being hunted by the very company that created the technology inside her.
Built around esports and gaming culture, the show pairs high-energy action with a large ensemble of friends, rivals and corporate threats orbiting Tari's situation.
