Brendan Blaber, born June 20, 1994, in Dallas, Texas, is an American animator, voice actor, writer, illustrator, author, independent video maker, and YouTuber. He’s widely known online as JelloApocalypse, under which name he runs a successful YouTube channel.

Blaber began his voice acting journey around 2012, steadily accumulating roles across anime dubbing for studios like FUNimation, Sound Cadence Studios, OkraTron 5000, and Crunchyroll.
Meanwhile, under JelloApocalypse, he produced content such as the “Welcome To!” and “So This Is Basically” series – animated shorts that satirize cartoons, games, and anime.

Breakthrough with Web Series

Brendan’s major breakthrough came with Epithet Erased, an action-comedy web series he created, wrote, directed, and voiced. It premiered on VRV on November 8, 2019, followed by a YouTube release on his JelloApocalypse channel on November 22, 2019.
The show was based on his earlier tabletop RPG series Anime Campaign (2016–2018), adapting its central mechanics and character concepts into an animated format.

Blaber’s voice roles include Combat Agent Six (Combatants Will Be Dispatched!), Mummy (My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising), Stelly (One Piece), Petey (Meta Runner), and numerous additional voices across anime.
In Epithet Erased, he voiced key characters such as Ben, Naven Nuknuk, and served as narrator.

Unique Voice Acting Style

Blaber frequently lends his talent to roles with vibrant personalities and quirky charm—skeletons, announcers, monsters, and comic relief abound. He often steps into characters that lend themselves to playful or unconventional performances.
The voice work in Epithet Erased is distinctive for pairing minimal, puppet-style 2D animation with energetic and expressive voice acting that drives the storytelling.

Beyond animation, Brendan has directed and cast voices for video games like Potionomics: Masterwork Edition and My Friendly Neighborhood.
On his YouTube channel, he collaborated with a team of amateur voice actors known as the Scrubadubs, evolving from Anime Campaign into Epithet Erased.

Future Projects and Career Outlook

As of 2025, Brendan is moving from Los Angeles back to Toronto and gradually winding down voice acting due to the lack of a home studio, though he remains open to professional voice or writing work.
Meanwhile, he continues to expand the Epithet Erased universe through further projects like upcoming novels – and potentially more animations – with fans eagerly watching each new development.
