Elisabeth Rohm is known worldwide as an actress, film and television director, and published author. She just wrapped her third feature, GIRL IN ROOM 13, starring Anne Heche, which will premiere in Fall 2022. Rohm's second original feature that she directed for Lifetime titled, SWITCHED BEFORE BIRTH, starring Justina Machado, premiered last fall to critical acclaim. The first film she directed, GIRL IN THE BASEMENT, starring Judd Nelson, was also for Lifetime and debuted in 2021. As an actress, Elisabeth has a long list of film credits, including BOMBSHELL for Lionsgate by director Jay Roach and Ted Melfi's THE STARLING. She has collaborated twice with David O. Russell in JOY and, most notably, AMERICAN HUSTLE, for which she won the SAG Award for Best Ensemble. The film was also nominated for an Oscar and won a Critic's Choice and Golden Globe award. Elisabeth is most known for her Emmy-nominated television work on LAW & ORDER, which she co-starred in for five years. She also co-starred in HEROES, JANE THE VIRGIN, STALKER, FLAKED, and many more. Elisabeth is the author of the book Baby Steps. She’s an active philanthropist and one of the founders of her thought forum called The Respect Project.
Currently, Elisabeth is acting consistently and has several films that just came out: The Royal, Notorious Nick, and The Runner. She has a feature in development at Village Roadshow and is directing network episodic television. Her production company Rohm Glatzer Productions is active in both film and television.
